365 Project- Day Two

This is what remains of the snow on campus. It's amazing how beautiful fresh fallen snow can be, and yet in matter of days it becomes something almost unrecognizable.

365 Project

A good friend and fellow photographer has been pushing me to start doing this. She has had an amazing experience with it, and I LOVE looking at her images, so I'm finally giving  in.  Truthfully I could use the discipline, and I'm actually kind of excited to get started.
So here it is, Day 1 of 356-

This is a necklace that hangs from the rearview mirror in my car. A gift from a dear friend, it is a reminder of some very fun and happy times.
 I can't help but smile when I see it so I thought it would be a great way to start this project. One of the things I hope to take away from this whole thing is a greater appreciation of the little things in my life, to notice them more.

Gypsies

Hey Everyone! Sorry its been awhile, I've been super busy with school and such. Don't worry about me though, I'm having a blast with my photography assignments. The following images are the product of my most recent shoot, with fellow photographer Jennifer Rice, a mystical gypsy theme set up using strictly tungsten lights! We even got a little crafty in constructing the light held by the model, so fun!! Any-whoo, let me know what you think!

Fun times in a ghost town

Jerome, AZ is a neat little place. Once a mining town, up until 1953, it now serves as an eccentric tourist destination, and one of my favorite places to take pictures. <3
